Men's Tennis Recap - Week Four

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Six of the seven Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference men's tennis teams were in action this week.

Colorado College faced two NCAA Division II squads, Colorado Christian University and Metropolitan State University of Denver, splitting the matches. The Tigers defeated CCU 6-3 on the road before returning back to Colorado Springs to take on Metro State. CC fell 1-8 to the visitors.

Schreiner University also earned a 1-1 record this weekend, taking down East Texas Baptist University, 6-3, but falling to regionally-ranked McMurry University, 2-7. The Mountaineers are now 8-1 on the season.

The Southwestern University Pirates had success on the courts this weekend, earning 9-0 wins over ETBU and Sul Ross State University. SU moved to 5-2 on the season.

Trinity University defeated NCAA Division II No. 36 St. Mary's this weekend, 5-4. The Tigers are 4-1 against Division III opponents, with their only loss coming last week at the ITA National Indoor Championship.
