LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Senior Nicolas Moreno has earned SCAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week for his efforts this past weekend in a pair of huge wins over nationally ranked teams.

NICOLAS MORENO OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior from Saratoga, Calif., has been selected the SCAC Men's Tennis Player-of-the-Week for all matches through Sunday, March 16th.
Moreno went 2-0 over the weekend in singles competition, including two gutty wins over two nationally ranked teams in Pomona-Pitzer and the Redlands.
Moreno picked up a huge victory, 7-6 (7-4), 6-4 over No. 16 Pomona-Pitzer's Graham Maassen on the road which tied the match up at four and led Greg Haugen to clinching the huge 5-4 victory.
Moreno followed that up with a 4-6, 6-2, 10-7 win over 13th-ranked Redlands and also picked up a tiebreak win at No. 1 doubles, 9-8 (10-8), with teammate Paxton Deuel.
