
SKILLMAN, N.J. -- Trinity University men's tennis dropped a spot this week to No. 8 in the nation in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) poll.
Trinity tooks home their conference-record 19th SCAC Title and
their fifth stragiht with 5-0 wins over Schreiner University and Texas Lutheran University.
The Tigers were absolutely dominant on their home court all weekend
long.
Trinity has three singles players ranked in the
Top 25 in the West Region. Paxton Deuel is second, Greg Haugen
is eighth and Nico Moreno is 25th. The doubles team of Deuel and
Moreno are ranked third and Haugen and Jordan Mayer are ranked
eighth.
In addition, the eighth-ranked Tigers received an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Playoffs. The NCAA bids will be announced May 5.
