NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The first day of the
2010 SCAC Men's and Women's Tennis Championships had its share of
inclement weather, but 14 of 16 matches were completed as the
DePauw, Trinity, Sewanee and Rhodes women and the Trinity, DePauw,
Rhodes and Oglethorpe men all advanced to Saturday's semifinal
round.
The second day of action has matches scheduled to begin at 8 a.m.
Saturday morning at the Burns Park Tennis Center in North Little
Rock, Arkansas.
The men's and women's third-place and championship matches will be
contested at 8 a.m. on Sunday morning with the league's respective
champions earning an automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament.
DePauw is the defending men's and women's champion.
