KONSTANTINE PARTALAS OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior from San Antonio, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Diver of the Week for performances the week of Monday, January 9 to Saturday, January 14. It is the second consecutive week he has won the award. SCAC Swimming & Diving Release (Week 10)
Partalas won both boards in the Tigers' dual meet victory over Southwestern on Saturday. He scored 287.68 points to win the one meter and 296.00 to take top honors on the three meter.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Senior Michael Vargas of University of the Ozarks placed first in both the 1 meter five dive and 1 meter six dive set. At the Austin College Invite, Vargas placed first in the one meter competition and first in the three meter competition, serving as an integral part of the team's second place finish just behind UTPB.
