MICKEY SCHARBROUGH OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Lake Havasu City, Ariz., has been selected the SCAC Men's Swimmer of the Week for all meets through Sunday, November 15th.
Scharbrough earned first place in the 100 breaststroke and the 200 breaststroke with times on 1:01.34 and 2:14.06 on Friday. He was also a member of the first place 400 medley relay team and 200 freestyle relay team.
Scharbrough continued his outstanding performance on Saturday earning first place finishes in the 50 and 100 breaststroke with times of 28.29 and 59.90.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Freshman Ethan Schick of Colorado College won the 100 fly in both meets this weekend, going 54.73 at Southwestern and 55.36 vs. Austin College/St Gregory's. He also split 53.84 fly on the medley relay, and 22.74 on the free relay.
