LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Four of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference men's swimming and diving squads continued their 2018-19 campaigns through the holiday breaks. 

Over the weekend Austin College hosted the Austin College Invite with conference opponents Centenary and McMurry among the teams in attendance. Centenary placed second while Austin College and McMurry took home third and fourth-place, respectively. Freshman Miguel Vasquez led the charge for the Gents winning the 100 back in 53.25 and adding a second-place finish in the 100 free (49.11). The Gents also grabbed a pair of second place finishes in the 200 medley (1:41.33) and free relay (1:32.20).  

Junior Chris Brown was the top performer for the Roos' taking third in the 100 back with a time of 56.01 while classmate Colton Baker earned victories on the 1 (161.20) and 3-meter boards (162.00). For the War Hawks, senior Jerick Pena secured fourth place finishes in the 100 back (56.23) and 100 IM (58.04). 

Colorado College was also in action over the break, defeating St. Norbert, 160-78, in a dual meet at home. Juniors Eric Dellesasse and Ethan Schick along with freshman Julian Frerichs all won multiple events for CC. Dellesasse was victorious in the 50 free (22.44) and 100 fly (53.61) while Schick and Frerichs added wins the 100 breast (1:05.90) and 100 back (57.41), respectively. On the boards, sophomore Casey Block won both the 1 (273.45) and 3 (202.05) meter events. 

The SCAC men's swimming and diving schedule continues this weekend highlighted by Austin College who hosts Centenary for a dual on Saturday.
