EVANSTON, Ill. - The College Swimming Coaches Association of America recently honored eight Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference men's & women's swimming & diving teams with All-Academic honors for the completed 2010-11 academic year.

And although the sport had produced its share of all-American performances, no one from the conference had stood atop the national awards podium in any event. That all ended on March 21, 2003.
