Catchpole had a big week for the ‘Roos recording n SCAC high four goals and nine points, highlighted by his second career hat-trick in a win over Mississippi University for Women on Sunday. It marked his first multigoal effort of the season and the sixth of his career. Catchpole also added as assist in the win over MUW to finish the week with nine total points. On the season, Catchpole is now tied for second in the SCAC in both goals (4) and points (10).
 
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
First year forward Nathan Uduojie of Centenary registered just the program’s third hat trick in the D3 era for the Gents and the first since 2019 in an impressive win over Mississippi University for Women. In addition to the three goals, Uduojie added an assist to finish with seven points on the night.  Sophomore forward Wyatt Linggi of Colorado College scored the game-winning goal for the Tigers in their 2-1 win over Emory last Saturday in a rematch of last year’s NCAA Round of 32 contest. Linggi connected on a header in the 64th minute to give CC the victory. On the week, Linggi finished with two points on one goal and fired five total shots, including two on target. Senior forward Theo Givens of Concordia (TX) continued his strong season, scoring twice and adding an assist in the Tornados’ 4-3 comeback win over ETBU last Saturday. Givens is now tied for second in the SCAC with four total goals and 10 total points on the year. Sophomore forward Armani Obasi of Ozarks scored the Eagles lone goal in a 1-1 draw against Millsaps last Friday night. Obasi was an offensive force as he generated a team-high three shots and eventually broke Millsaps' defensive backline with a goal in the 63rd minute. Senior forward Luca Cupleu of Southwestern rang home the game-winning goal in the Pirates lone contest last week, a 2-1 win over Cal Lutheran. Cupleu scored his first goal of the year in the 60th minute on a header off a cross from Greyson Pinto. Senior forward Daniel Castro of St. Thomas registered a brace, scoring twice, including the game-winner in a come from behind, 4-2 win over Hendrix last Friday to lift the Celts to a perfect 3-0 record to start the year. Senior midfielder Erick Lopez of Texas Lutheran scored the game-winning goal in the Bulldogs 1-0 win over Hardin-Simmons last Friday. It marked the first goal of the season for Lopez and lifted TLU to 4-0-1 to start the season. Senior midfielder Hunter Cain of Trinity led the Tigers to a pair of victories last week, notching a goal in each fixture, to finish with four total points in wins over Cal Lutheran and Howard Payne.
