Will Mallory, Colorado College, Offensive Player of the Week (Week 8)

WILL MALLORY OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a sophomore midfielder from Atlanta, Ga., has been selected the SCAC Men’s Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played the week of Monday, October 15th to Sunday, October 21st.

Senior midfielder Phillip Le of Austin College played a key role to help secure an SCAC Tournament bid for the ‘Roos. Le assisted on the first goal and scored the game-winner in a 2-1 win over Texas Lutheran on Sunday. Sophomore midfielder Tomas DePetris of Dallas assisted on one goal and scored the game-winning goal to lift the Crusaders in a crucial SCAC match against Southwestern last week. Senior forward Alex Newell of Southwestern scored the lone goal for the Pirates in a loss to Dallas last week. Freshman forward Luis Green of Texas Lutheran accounted for both goals the Bulldogs scored last week, leading TLU to a 1-1 record. Green scored the game-winner in a 1-0 shutout of Dallas and scored the lone goal in a 2-1 loss to Austin College. Sophomore midfielder Jacob Hallenberger of Trinity registered three assists to help lift the Tigers to an 8-1 victory against Schreiner in their lone contest of the week.
