KYLE PORTER OF
TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore midfielder from
Albuquerque, N.M., has been selected as the SCAC Men's Soccer
Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday,
October 25 through Sunday, October 31.
Porter helped lead the Trinity Tigers into first place in
the SCAC after posting two shutout victories against Sewanee and
Oglethorpe.
In addition to helping the defense in allowing zero goals
on just 13 total shots, Porter also scored the
game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over Oglethorpe on Sunday.
Porter scored his first goal of the season on a
diving header that pushed the Tigers into the lead in the SCAC
standings.
