SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Trinity sophomore Andrea Codispoti has been tabbed as the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Men's Player of the Week.

The midfielder became the second Trinity player in a row to earn the accolade from the coaches' association after junior defender Roman Cano took home the honor last week. Codispoti is now the third Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference athlete to be given the award this season.

Earlier selected as the SCAC Men's Offensive Player of the Week, Codispoti scored three goals and chalked up an assist in two SCAC home games last weekend.

He scored the final two goals as the now eighth-ranked Tigers defeated Colorado College 5-2. Codispoti also fired in a scoring play in the 7-0 shutout of Johnson & Wales (CO) University. His assist occurred in Trinity's third goal against Colorado College, which turned out to be the game-winner.

This season, Codispoti is in a three-way tie for second place on the team with four goals. He is also in a three-way tie for the top spot in assists, with three to his credit.
