SCAC Men's Soccer Recap - Week Four

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - League action continued as all eight Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference teams competed.

After earning their first loss of the season last week, #6 Trinity University bounced back with a pair of wins over Southwestern University and Texas Lutheran University. The Tigers dominated on Friday night with a 5-0 win over the Bulldogs, then followed that up with a 2-0 victory against the Pirates.

The Tigers now lead the league with 12 points in the standings and a 4-1 SCAC record. Right behind Trinity with 11 points is the University of Dallas. The Crusaders remain the only team in the league without a conference loss, holding a 3-0-2 record.

Dallas earned a 4-0 win over Centenary College on Friday before a double-overtime 1-1 draw with Austin College on Sunday.

No. 24 Colorado College went 2-0 on the week to move to 10 points in the standings. The Tigers are currently 3-1-1 in the SCAC after earning wins over Austin College and Centenary College at home this weekend.

Austin College sits in fourth place in the league with eight points and a 2-1-2 record, followed by Southwestern in fifth and Texas Lutheran in sixth. All three teams went 0-1-1 this weekend.

Schreiner University and Centenary round out standings in seventh and eighth place, respectively. The Mountaineers played to a pair of draws this weekend, to earn two points in the standings.
