SCAC Men's Soccer Recap - Week Three

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play was in full swing this weekend as all eight teams competed.

The most impressive win of the week came by the University of Dallas (3-1-1, 2-0-1 SCAC), as the Crusaders took down #4 Trinity University in an overtime battle. UD notched the golden goal in the 96th minute. Dallas followed the win up with another at Schreiner University Sunday.

Alongside Dallas atop the conference standings is Austin College (4-1-2, 2-0-1 SCAC) who went 1-0-1 over the weekend. Trinity sits in third in the league standings with a 2-1 record. TU bounced back from Friday night's loss with a win over #20 Colorado College on Sunday.

Southwestern University sits fourth in the league standings with a 1-0-2 record, followed by Colorado College at 1-1-1. The Pirates earned a conference-opening win on Tuesday, but recorded two double-overtime draws over the weekend against Centenary and Austin College.

Texas Lutheran went 1-2 last week to come in at sixth in the standings, while Centenary College and Schreiner University are seventh and eighth, respectively.
