Trinity Remains No. 1, Colorado College Enters NSCAA Poll at No. 24

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- After a pair of close wins this weekend, Trinity University men's soccer remains the nation's top-ranked team, and was joined by Colorado College in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll.

Trinity remains undefeated on the season and picked up two conference wins over the weekend, defeating Centenary College in overtime and earning a narrow 3-2 victory over Austin College. Colorado College moved to 6-1-1 after defeating Texas Lutheran University and Southwestern University at home.

In the d3soccer.com poll, Trinity is ranked fifth, while Colorado College is receiving votes.

Trinity leads the conference with a scoring average of 2.67 goals per game, while Colorado College paces the league by allowing just 0.35 goals, which ranks eighth in the nation.

The two teams will switch opponents this weekend, with Colorado College taking on Austin College and Centenary, and Trinity facing Texas Lutheran and Southwestern.
