KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Trinity (Texas) University
(6-2-1, 4-1) took the No. 23 ranking in the National Soccer
Coaches Association (NSCAA)/Continental Tire Division III top 25
men’s poll and the No. 3 ranking for the NSCAA West Regional
poll for week five. Colorado College (6-2-2, 5-0) earned the No. 10
ranking for the NSCAA West Regional poll. Trinity received votes in
the D3Soccer.com national Top 25 poll.
Trinity continued its strong showing in conference play with two
more home shutouts against SCAC opponents. The Tigers pushed their
winning streak to four games by blanking both Centenary and Austin
College, and the Tigers have not allowed a goal during the
streak.
Trinity is on the road for the first time in nearly a month this
weekend, facing off against Dallas and Colorado College in a pair
of SCAC games. Trinity trails Colorado College by a game in the
standings.
