JARED WELSH OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a senior attack/midfielder from Palm City Fla., has been named the SCAC Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for games played from Monday, February 11 through Sunday, February 17.
Welsh matched a career-high in points with eight on three goals and five assists to lead the Pirates to a 16-7 win over Hendrix last Sunday. In total on the week, Welsh finished with 11 points on the week thanks to three goals on 14 shots and eight assists.
Other Outstanding Performances:
Sophomore attack John Sutro led Colorado College with three goals and two assists for a total of five points last weekend, as the Tigers opened the 2019 season against a pair of top-15 opponents.
