JAMES IGLEHART
OF COLORADO COLLEGE a senior defender from
Baltimore, Md., has been selected the SCAC Men's Lacrosse Defensive
Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, April 1 through
Sunday, April 7.
Iglehart enjoyed a career day at both ends of the
field to help Colorado College cruise to a 27-2 victory over Dallas
on Sunday afternoon at Washburn Field.
Iglehart recorded career highs of five caused turnovers and five ground balls in the defensive zone as the Tigers held an opponent to fewer than five goals for the sixth time this season. He also figured prominently in the success of CC's man-down unit, which did not give up a goal in eight opportunities.
At the offensive end, Iglehart posted the
first multiple-goal game of his career to help the Tigers post
their largest offensive output a single game since a 28-0 victory
over Oglethorpe University on April 8, 2011.
