JAMIE LONG OF
SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a junior attacker from
Shreveport, La., has been selected the SCAC Men's Lacrosse
Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, March 26
through Sunday, April 1.
Long led the Pirates to a 2-0 record
this week and led the team with eight points, recording six goals
and two assists.
Against Rhodes on Friday he posted two goals and two assists, as
well as four ground balls. He also added two shots on goal among
his six total shots.
Against Millsaps on Sunday, Long tallied four
goals on 16 shots (12 shots on goal).
For the week Long had a .636 shot-on-goal
percentage.
