LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- It was a short week in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference men’s lacrosse, with only two games on the schedule.

Southwestern continued its winning streak defeating Berry College, 16-8. Zac Asbury scored a game-high four goals and added three assists and nine groundballs. Cody Foster and Blake Sitterly each had three goals. Hudson Bearden won 10-of-15 out of the 23 faceoffs against Berry and picked up seven groundballs and two caused turnovers.

Centenary had a road loss to Birmingham-Southern (21-2) on Tuesday. John-Mark Waniewski scored one of the Gents two goals, with freshman Mark Temple contributing the other. 

SCAC men’s lacrosse action continues this week with Dallas hosting Hendrix on Saturday and Aurora (Ill.) visiting Colorado for matchups with Colorado College and JWU on Sunday.
