LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Lacrosse Tournament is set to return for the first time since 2014 this Friday April 26th and Sunday April 28th in Irving, Texas, hosted by University of Dallas.

Colorado College earned the top seed in the tournament following a 7-7 regular season campaign. The Tigers enter the 2019 Championship as four-time champions, including the most recent tournament back in 2014. CC also won the league tournament in 2010, 2011 and 2013.

Due to late season injuries for Johnson & Wales, the tournament has been bracketed as a three team-team event, with Southwestern earning the No. 2 seed and Dallas securing the No. 3 seed. Southwestern finished the regular season with a 9-6 record, earning victories in two of its last three contests. Dallas enters the SCAC Tournament with an overall record of 1-8.

Southwestern and Dallas will square off in the semifinals Friday, April 26th a 2:00 PM CST. This will be the second meeting between the two programs this season with the Pirates emerging victorious back on April 13th.

The winner of Friday’s semifinal contest will advance to take on Colorado College in the championship match, scheduled for Sunday April 28th at 1:00 PM CST.
