SCAC Men's Golf Fall Recap - Week Five

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Two Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference men's golf teams were in action this week.

The University of Dallas earned wins in a pair of dual matches against Hendrix College. The Crusaders shot a 313 on Saturday to defeat the Warriors, led by Robby Evans and Tommy Schuberg who each posted scores of 76. Competing as an individual, Dallas' Robert Bross shot the lowest round of the day with a 75 (+3).

For Sunday's match-up, the Crusaders improved 12 shots to card a 301 with Seth McNeil taking over. McNeil shot a 73 to lead Dallas, the second best score among all golfers.

Southwestern University competed at the Royal Lakes Fall Invitational in Georgia this weekend, finishing in 11th place out of a field of 18, including some of the nation's best teams.

The Pirates were in fourth place after the first 18 holes, posting a first round score of 294 (+6). In an effort to beat Hurricane Nate, 27 holes were completed on Saturday and the Pirates dropped to eighth place after day one. Southwestern finished with a two-round score of 597 (+21) for the tournament.
