SCAC Men's Golfers Close Out 2015-16 Season at NCAA Championship

ENFIELD, N.Y. -- The 2015-16 men's golf season came to and end for the remaining Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference teams Wednesday. Day Two Results

After the final cuts were made heading into the third and fourth rounds, the SCAC participants came up just short. The Pirates ended the competition in 28th place, moving up four spots from Tuesday's finish.

Schreiner University's Phillip Stewart finished the competition in a tie for 67th place, posting a 79 through Wednesday's action.

Southwestern's Devon Horne led the Pirates, also in a tie for 67th place, posting a second round score of 79 (+8) to finish with a total mark of 155 (+12).

Tyler Gammill was just one shot behind Stewart and Horne, after posting Southwestern's best round Wednesday, 77 (+6).

Cody Hebert and Connor Murphy each finished with identical marks of 162, while Andrew DeHennis was fifth among the Pirates with a two day score of 168.
