SEWANEE, Tenn. - After six seasons as the
assistant football coach for the offensive line at Angelo State
University in Texas, Hank McClung has been named head golf coach
and football offensive line coach for Sewanee, according to Mark
Webb, Sewanee athletic director. "My family and I are thrilled to
be a part of the Sewanee community," said McClung. "I look forward
to working with the coaches and staff as well as Sewanee's fine
student-athletes to continue the proud tradition of success on the
Mountain."
Prior to his six years at ASU, McClung was at Drake University,

McClung was also head football coach at Midwestern State University
from 1996-98 and directed the program's move from the NAIA to NCAA
Division II. He then moved on to Abilene Christian University,

Other stops for the veteran coach have included Southeastern
Oklahoma State University, Texas Tech University, Nebraska Wesleyan
University, Midwestern State and Eastern New Mexico University, his
