AARON WYATT OF
THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a junior forward
from Frisco, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men's Basketball
Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, November 11th
through Sunday, November 17th.
Wyatt was a huge factor both
offensively and defensively as he led the Crusaders to a 1-1
opening weekend at the Pablo Coto Tip-Off Tournament in the
Nation's Capital.
In the first game against Lebanon
Valley, Wyatt scored 11
points on 2-for-4 shooting including 7-for-7 from the free throw
line and added 14 rebounds for his first double-double of the year
in a 71-69 victory. He also added two blocks and two
steals.
The following night against
Marymount, Wyatt led the
way with 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting to go with nine rebounds, two
assist, and a steal.
For his
efforts, Wyatt was named to
the All-Tournament Team of the Pablo Coto Tip-Off
Tournament.
Wyatt finished the weekend averaging
14.5 points a game and 12.5 rebounds per game while pulling down 10
total offensive rebounds.
