SCAC Men's Basketball Recap - Week Five

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The first conference match-up went down in Irving as the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference men's basketball season continued.

Colorado College traveled to the Lone Star State for a pair of games over the weekend, beginning with the SCAC-opener against the University of Dallas. The Crusaders edged the Tigers out in the game, earning a 69-65 win over the SCAC preseason favorite.

Dallas continues to lead the league with a record of 6-1. Centenary College moved to 6-3 on the season with a win in their only game last week, while Trinity University sits at the same record, going 1-1 at home.

Schreiner University and Southwestern University eached picked up a win as well, with the Mountaineers defeating McMurry University and the Pirates taking down Springfield College.

Texas Lutheran University had one of the most thrilling games of the week, defeating Hardin-Simmons Univeristy 79-76 with a buzzer-beating three pointer from Nathan Josephs.
