LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- After the holiday, the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference men's basketball teams began conference play in the new year.
The Austin College Kangaroos (10-1, 0-1 SCAC) earned a pair of wins to extend their winning streak to 10 games before falling to the University of Dallas (5-4, 1-0 SCAC) in their first conference match up of the season.
Colorado College (6-6, 2-0 SCAC) went 4-1 over the holiday break, including two wins over Centenary College at home to begin league play.
Texas Lutheran University (9-3, 1-0 SCAC) picked up a dominant win over No. 15 East Texas Baptist University, then followed it up with a win to open conference.
Schreiner University (6-5, 0-0 SCAC) is on a roll, extending their winning streak to four games after picking up a pair of non-conference wins over the weekend.
