Men's Basketball Recap - Week Twelve

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Three teams clinched a spot in the 2016 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Tournament this weekend, and the race heated up for the final spots.

Colorado College swept the University of Dallas and Austin College to secure a spot and take the lead in the standings, while Texas Lutheran fell to a close second after splitting the weekend.

Southwestern University earned a pair of wins over Schreiner University and Trinity University to move into third place and earn their way into the tournament. This was the first time that Southwestern earned a regular season sweep of rival Trinity since the 1992-93 season.

Centenary College, who has already secured a spot in the tournament, is on a three-game winning streak, earning victories over Dallas and Austin College this weekend.
