LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Unlike last week, the home teams held an advantage over the weekend, earning a 8-1 record in conference action.
Texas Lutheran University moved to 7-0 in SCAC action and took sole posession of the top spot in the standings with a win over Colorado College Friday night. The 25th-ranked Bulldogs are now 15-3 on the season.
Colorado College rebounded from the two-point loss at TLU to defeat Southwestern and move to 7-1 in conference.
Southwestern University split their games this weekend, earning a win over Centenary College Friday before falling to Colorado College. The Pirates are currently third in the SCAC with a 4-3 record in league play.
The University of Dallas picked up a pair of wins, defeating both Trinity University and Schreiner University in the Maher Center. Austin College also took down those two teams, earning their first conference wins to move to 2-5 in SCAC action and 12-5 on the season.
