JUAN JOSEPH OF
MILLSAPS COLLEGE, a 6-1, 188-pound senior quarter
back from Edgard, La. has been named the SCAC Football Offensive
Player-of-the-Week for games played Saturday, November 1.
Joseph completed 30-of-43 passes for 370 yards and
three TDs and also rushed 12 times for 91 yards and two more scores
as the 5th-ranked Majors snapped Trinity's 37-game home conference
winning streak dating back to 1995. Joseph
connected with eight different receivers on the afternoon and
recorded his 10th career 300-yard game, while accounting for 461 of
the Majors' 576 total yards of offense.
He's the first Millsaps quarterback in the SCAC era to beat the Trinity twice in his career and has the Majors off to their best start since 1980.
