SPUD DICK OF DEPAUW UNIVERSITY, a 5-11, 190-pound junior
quarterback from Indianapolis, Ind., has been named the SCAC
Football Offensive Players-of-the-Week for games played from
Thursday, September 11 through Sunday, September 14.
Dick paced the Tigers in a 52-17 win over Anderson
(Ind.). He completed 20 of 26 passes for 254 yards and four
touchdowns, while playing only three quarters. In the second
quarter alone, Dick connected on 12 of his 14
passes for 173 yards and three touchdowns.
