SCAC Football Recap - Week Eleven

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The final weekend of SCAC football saw Southwestern complete its perfect conference season with a 35-31 victory at Texas Lutheran. In San Antonio, Trinity clinched a second place finish in the SCAC with a 14-0 shutout of Austin College.

The games in Seguin and San Antonio represented the final SCAC football games that will be played for the foreseeable future.

Beginning with the 2017 season, Austin College and Trinity will become affiliate football members of the Southern Athletic Association while Southwestern and Texas Lutheran will be affiliate members of the American Southwest Conference.

Leading into this week's action and to recognize 55 years of conference football, the league office released an all-time CAC/SCAC football team. That release can be found here.
