SCAC Football Recap - Week Six

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Week six of the SCAC football season saw Texas Lutheran University jump into the D3football.com Top 25 after beating East Texas Baptist and Southwestern University fell to Oklahoma Panhandle State. 

Texas Lutheran University, now ranked 25th in the D3football.com Top 25, improved to 5-1 after defeating ETBU 55-27. The victory marked head coach Danny Padron's 100th career win, and his 35th as head coach of the Bulldogs. TLU's high-powered offense put up 649 total yards and possessed the ball for over 40 minutes.

Southwestern University fell to Oklahoma Panhandle State, a Division II independent program, with a final score of 56-24. The loss puts the Pirates at 2-4 on the season. Southwestern takes on Trinity University (4-1) on October 24th.
