
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The 2015 SCAC football season came to a close last weekend with Texas Lutheran University clinching the program's third straight conferene title.
The Bulldogs defeated Southwestern University with a final score of 58-3 on Saturday. The 18th-ranked Bulldogs are now 9-0 all-time in SCAC play. TLU posted 601 yards of total offense and rushed for eight total rushing TDs. TLU did not receive a bid to the NCAA tournament.
Trinity University closed out the season with an 8-2 overall record after beating Austin College 10-7 on Saturday. In a defensive battle, the Tigers held Austin College to just 135 yards of total offense to Trinity's 301. The 'Roos finished 5-5 overall.
