MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The Texas Lutheran University football team is now ranked 25th in the NCAA Division III rankings from D3football.com.
The Bulldogs (5-1) ran past East Texas Baptist (3-2) on Saturday with a final score of 55-27 to push the team into the top 25. The high-powered TLU offense put up 649 total yards behind senior quarterback Trenton White who completed 31-39 passes throwing for three scores and rushing for two more.
The win marked head coach Danny Padron's 100th career victory and his 35th win as head coach of TLU.
25th-ranked TLU will be on a bye week for the upcoming weekend, but face undefeated Mary Hardin-Baylor on October 24th.
