LAYTON TROMBA
OF CENTENARY COLLEGE, a sophomore left-hander from
Bossier City, La., has been selected the SCAC Baseball
Pitcher-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, March 25 through
Sunday, March 31.
Tromba tossed his sixth, complete-game win of the
season (nine-innings) with a 3-1 decision at Trinity.
Tromba held the conference’s top hitting
team to just one run and fanned four hitters during the contest.
The win was the third over the Tigers this season for the
Gents.
