TYLER CLAKLEY
OF CENTENARY COLLEGE, a senior outfielder from
Tyler, Texas, has been named the SCAC Offensive Baseball
Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, March 11 through
Sunday, March 17.
In 17 plate appearances during the week, Clakley
pounded out a team-best nine hits on the week and tied for the top
spot on the squad with six RBI while hitting .529 (9 for 17) during
the week.
Of his nine hits, Clakley racked up a homerun
and triple. He tallied at least one hit in all three outings
against Austin College and drove in four of his six runs during the
span.
He slugged. 824 and posted a .579 on-base percentage for a 1.403 OPS (On-base + Slugging).
