Pat Hirschberg, Trinity University, Baseball (Offensive)

PAT HIRSCHBERG OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior outfielder from Parker, Colo., has been named the SCAC Offensive Baseball Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, February 18 through Sunday, February 24.

Hirschberg led Trinity to a 3-1 record over the past week, including two wins in a three-game SCAC series at home against Austin College.

Hirschberg hit .429 (6-14) over the four games, picking up three runs and six RBI for the Tigers. He hit three home runs, a double, and a triple in the four games, as well as drawing a pair of walks.

After starting off slowly during the week, he picked up three hits in each of the last two games against Austin College – including two home runs in the weekend series finale on Sunday. Hirschberg led Trinity to a split in Saturday’s doubleheader with a 3-4 performance that left him just a single shy of hitting for the cycle.
