LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Texas Lutheran junior shortstop Joe Jimenez was named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week for week seven of the 2022 season.
Jimenez was once again a force in the Bulldogs offense hitting .467 (7-for-15) with three home runs, seven runs scored and 10 RBI to lead the Bulldogs to an undefeated weekend. Jimenez currently ranks second in the country in home runs and first in RBI.
The Team of the Week is D3baseball.com's weekly honor roll, in its 10th season of recognizing the top performers at each of nine positions from the previous week. Players are selected from nominations from their school's sports information directors.
This marks the third time in five weeks, Jimenez has earned National Team of the Week honors. He previously took home the accolades on March 1st and March 15th. His honor marks the fifth time this year an SCAC Student-Athlete has earned national recognition.
