LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Centenary College's Chris Zapata earned a spot on the D3baseball.com Team of the Week after an impressive offensive performance last week.
Zapata, a junior from Saratoga, Calif., came up big in a pair of Centenary run-ruled wins over Northland College with a .635/.667/1.375 slash line.
He had five hits, two for home runs, to go along with three runs scored and seven RBIs.
Zapata and the Gents begin conference play this weekend against Austin College.
