Texas Lutheran's Law Named to D3baseball.com Team of the Week

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Senior first baseman Justin Law of Texas Lutheran University has been named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week. 

Law hit .600 (6-for-10) with a slugging percentage of .900 to lead the SCAC first-place Bulldogs to a three-game sweep of University of Dallas. For the week, he had an on-base percentage of .692. Law also played errorless defense in 31 total chances at first, including a short-hop pick-up on a throw from third to end the second game with the Dallas bases loaded.Law was also named SCAC Offensive Player of the Week this week. For the season, he is batting .356, a team-best 31 RBI, and is slugging .540 for a .443 OBP.

The Bulldogs sit at 19-9 overall with a perfect 9-0 SCAC record that will be tested this weekend as TLU travels to No. 1 Trinity University for a three-game set. TLU met Trinity earlier in the year in a non-conference series that saw Trinity win two games to one.    

The Team of the Week is D3baseball.com's weekly honor roll, in its fifth season of recognizing the top performers at each of nine positions from the previous week. Players are selected from nominations from their school's sports information directors and/or conference offices. This is the sixth Team of the Week of the 2016 season.
