MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The Trinity University Tigers are back in the top three in the latest D3baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25. The Centenary College Gents also fell to No. 24.
The D3baseball.com Top 25 is voted on by a panel of 25 Sports Information Directors and media members from across the country, and is published weekly. Full members of NCAA Division III are eligible.
Trinity swept Austin College last weekend and earned a share of the SCAC regular season title. The Tigers head into the SCAC tournament as the #2 seed behind #1 Texas Lutheran who dropped out of the Top 25 this week.
The Gents dropped two of three to the University of Dallas last week and slid to No. 24 in the top 25. We will see a rematch of last year's SCAC championship game between the Gents and Tigers in game two of the tournament on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
