Tigers Unchanged in D3baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Trinity University's baseball team remained No. 3 in the latest D3baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25. 

The D3baseball.com Top 25 is voted on by a panel of 25 Sports Information Directors and media members from across the country, and is published weekly. Full members of NCAA Division III are eligible.

As the league's automatic qualifier, Trinity (35-7) heads to a Regional Tournament, to be held May 18-22, at a predetermined site which will be announced on Sunday, May 15.

The Tigers sit as No. 1 in the West Region rankings, sitting ahead of Cal Lutheran, Whitworth, Concordia (TX), Occidental and SCAC rival Texas Lutheran at No. 6. 

Trinity was led throughout the regular season by SCAC Player-of-the-Year Jeremy Wolf who posted a .418 batting average, .782 slugging percentage, .513 OBP, plated 51 runs and drove in 56. He also led the league in home runs (11). Trinity's Michael Walker has been solid on the hill for the Tigers posting a team-best 3.02 ERA and holding opposing bats to a .264 average. He also leads the team in wins (8).
