Trinity's Wolf Named to CPL All-Star Game

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Trinity baseball outfielder Jeremy Wolf has been selected for the East Team of the Coastal Plain League (CPL) All-Star Game.

The East-West showcase game will be played July 13-14 at Big Rock Stadium at Morehead City, North Carolina. The CPL is a premier summer collegiate baseball league.

Wolf is a member of the Petersburg (VA) Generals, and is the team's top hitter with a .330 average (29-88). In 25 games (24 starts) Wolf has scored 16 runs, and accounted for eight doubles, two triples, and 15 RBI for the Generals.

During the 2014 Trinity baseball campaign, Wolf earned All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference honors.  He was second on the Tiger team in batting average (.336, 51-152), runs scored (18), and RBI (37). He led the squad in doubles (17), and also cracked three triples and two home runs.

Trinity finished the season with a 33-10 record under Head Coach Tim Scannell, who has led the team to eight SCAC Championships. The Tigers also advanced to the NCAA Division III Playoffs for the ninth time.
