Trinity Up to Sixth in ABCA; Ninth in D3baseball.com Polls

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The Trinity University baseball team have climbed back up the national polls, moving up to sixth in the ABCA polls and ninth in the latest D3baseball.com polls.

The Tigers (25-6), who surprisingly went winless one week ago, responded with a bang, going 4-0 this past weekend as the offense exploded for 45 runs, scoring in double digits in three of the four games they played in this past weekend. They started with a road win over Hardin Simmons before returning and sweeping Schreiner University in dominant fashion on the road to remain in first in the SCAC.

Trinity returns home and will look to extend its lead in the conference as they welcome in the No. 2 team in the SCAC, the Texas Lutheran Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs are receiving votes in the ABCA polls as they came off a huge win over No. 22/16 Concordia (TX) followed by an even bigger home sweep over Centenary to take control on second place.
