GREENCASTLE, Ind. - With Rhodes College's 10-5 win at DePauw University yesterday, not only did the Lynx pick up their milestone 20th win of the season, but head coach Jeff Cleanthes tallied a career milestone of his own.

Cleanthes collected his 200th career win with the victory. Cleanthes has completely revamped the Rhodes baseball program since he took over in the fall of 2003. Cleanthes becomes the third active Southern Collegeiate Athletic Conference coach, joining Millsaps' Jim Page and Trinity's Tim Scannell, with 200 or more career wins.

Before taking over at Rhodes, Cleanthes spent three years at Keuka College, in Keuka Park, N.Y. In his 9 plus years as a head coach, Cleanthes has a career coaching record of 200-174.

In his time at Rhodes, Cleanthes has a 161-114 record, winning 58 percent of the games he has coached. It took him, just two seasons to turn the Rhodes program around, and since doing so in the spring of 2006, Rhodes has a record of 137-63, for a winning percentage of 68.5.

Rhodes is currently 20-7 this season and is ranked 27th in the country in both the d3baseball.com and ABCA polls. This year's team is led by a senior class that has seen Cleanthes' 100th career win as freshmen, and 200th as seniors.
