ITHACA, N.Y. - Led by first-team selections Tait Hendrix of Millsaps College, Andy Holt of Rhodes College and Jeff Claydon of Trinity University, the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference placed seven student-athletes on the 2009 ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District baseball team.
Brantley Freeman of Southwestern University, Brad Gerlach of DePauw University, Will Hawkins of Millsaps College and Jeffrey Williams of Centre College also were named as second-team selections in their respective districts.
