LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The #SCACTrending competition continued this week as Texas Lutheran remained the top dog, accumulating 243 points during the week beginning Monday, January 12 and ending Sunday, January 18.
The Bulldogs continued their dominance on both Twitter and Instagram, tallying 147 and 96 points, respectively, on each of the two platforms. Colorado College remained in the second spot with 192 points this week, while Schreiner University made the jump up to third place with 135 points.
The University of Dallas stayed at in fourth place this week, close behind the Mountaineers with 127 points. Centenary College jumped up to fifth place from seventh last week with 62 points, just knocking out Trinity University, who finished the week with 61.
Southwestern University and Austin College took seventh and eighth place, respectively, with 55 and 28 points.
The points are tallied based on the usage of an institution-specific hashtag. Each time the hashtag is used on Twitter, a school will receive one points, while every usage on Instagram will add two points.
