LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The Texas Lutheran University Bulldogs earned the #SCACTrending crown again, accumulating 269 points over the last week to lead all SCAC schools.
This is the fifth time that the Bulldogs have earned a win, and their third in the last four weeks. Close behind TLU was the University of Dallas, who marked 186 points this week and last week’s winner, Colorado College, marked 166 points to finish third. Austin College fell one spot this week to fourth place, finishing with 128 points, while Centenary College moved up a couple spots to fifth with 103 points.
The Trinity University Tigers remained in sixth place this week, earning 94 points, while Schreiner University and Southwestern University tied for 91 points.
Each week, the points are tallied by the usage of a school specific hashtag, with one point being earned for all posts on Twitter and two points for any posts on Instagram.
Student-athletes from the four SCAC teams that will be competing in NCAA tournaments this weekend will be taking over the SCAC Instagram account. One or more members from each the Trinity men’s soccer, women’s soccer and volleyball teams and the Colorado College volleyball team will post pictures of their experience beginning Thursday, November 13 and through Sunday, November 16.
