
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The second annual
#SCAC8in8 tour begins tomorrow afternoon in
Kerrville, Texas as the conference office will be on the campus of
Schreiner University on Friday for the SCAC men's and women's
soccer doubleheader match-up between Schreiner and the University
of Dallas.
Game time for the women's match is scheduled for 2 p.m. CT,
followed by the men's match at or around 4 p.m. CT.
The tour, which will be promoted via the twitter
hashtag #SCAC8in8, will begin Friday, October 10 on
the campus of Schreiner University and conclude on Saturday,
October 18 on the campus of Trinity University.
SCAC assistant commissioner James Hill, along with assistant
director of communications and new media Katie Mucci, will attend
various athletics competitions for nine days on the eight member
campuses. The event will be promoted via twitter (@SCAC_Sports)
and instagram (@SCAC_Sports). The SCAC will again enlist the
assistance of a student-athlete representative from each campus to
shoot video and take pictures, which will be posted on the
conference's Instagram and YouTube accounts as well as an original
video from the conference representatives.
Limited edition #SCAC8in8 t-shirts will be given out by
student reps who will be asking SCAC- and institution-based trivia
questions throughout the campus visit.
